![]() If I come across as passionate about this game, I served my country for 27 years in the Royal Air Force. Please tell me you know that HMS Prince of Wales and HMS Repulse were sunk by the Japanese air force on 10 December 1941. Where is HMS Repulse in the newly released British Beta? Aircraft should not appear out of the blue. This whole arena of the Pacific is about time and distance. HMS Glorious CV, HMS Prince of Wales BB and HMS Repulse BC were all lost because in all of these cases, the Admirals did not use aircraft that was available to them. Ships were lost because Admirals themselves hadn't come to terms with the importance of air power. Lets not forget, this is the war that defined beyond all reasonable doubt, that the aircraft is the military platform that owned the seas, not the Battleship. A build is a request to the Logistics board, just like I ask for a ship. I should not immediately get a newly built aircraft. Where is my search pattern? Where is my shadow option for both aircraft and ship? Detecting incoming aircraft and reacting to them is not easy if you have the wrong loadout. It takes time to change the loadout on a squadron of aircraft. A single aircraft icon with loadout and a number representing how many have that loadout should be used.Īircraft carriers were lost, because aircraft had the wrong loadouts. I should be able to see an aircraft loadout without having to click on it.Īircraft should be grouped together by type and loadout. I should be able to drag and drop an aircraft with my mouse. Handling aircraft at a base or carrier is woefully inadequate. The loadout of an aircraft should be visible with the aircraft, wherever you see it in the game. The icons should be of the actual aircraft already in use at the base or carrier screen. The generalized icons that represent aircraft at a base or carrier on the map needs to go. The control of air units is still found wanting. Now, I have been away for a few weeks to allow this game to develop further.
